Is this thing on?

I got into writing, and eventually what I still somewhat hesitantly call journalism, thanks to my old blog, Along the Mekong. It still exists here, but I haven’t touched it since March, and it’s going to stay that way. As time wore on and I continued to neglect that page, it made less and less sense to return to it.

I’ve been thinking of getting back to non-paid writing for a while though, and using Medium offers me a clean slate with no structure to follow. I plan to start posting on here somewhat frequently, discussing Vietnam- and Saigon-related news, as well as (amateur) photography and other random thoughts. Enjoy.
